Recognizing the drive, creativity, philosophy, philanthropy and entrepreneurship of a woman that helped change the face of the hair care industry, local communities and the world.

The AMHS is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that was founded by Linda M. Nance, President and CEO
.


​Mission

Our mission is to compile and disseminate a body of information that will
​fairly depict the 
extraordinary business acumen, inspiring dedication to community,
​and generous commitment to 
philanthropic endeavors made by
Annie M. Turnbo Pope Malone.


Vision

The Annie Malone  Historical Society believes the world
would be a much better place if more people would adopt the ideology
of helping in their communities and around the world. 


Goals

Our primary goal is to make a collective body of accurate information about the
contributions of  
Annie M. Turnbo Pope Malone available to the public at large
and to actively engage that "informed" public in sharing the  story ​of that
​proud legacy throughout various cities, states and the world.


Purpose

To give proper recognition to a pillar of history.  To share the story of
extraordinary vision, dedication, commitment, and success that
were the
life of Annie M. Turnbo Pope Malone.  To place the accomplishments of
this African American icon in one body of evidence ​that is easily
​accessible to the public.
